Dear all, I proudly announce to you, that we delivered 113 488 signatures on a petition against uranium mining to Slovak parliament today. 100 000 signatures is the number when paliament in Slovakia have to talk about petition. We ask parliament to change three laws, so municipalities have a chance to say no to uranium mining in their localities. This practically means no uranium mining in Slovakia - as all the towns and villages which are near possible mining are against it! :) Now we will wait till people in parliament will count the signatures and if they will count 100 000 (we already crossed off about 25 000 incomplete or unreadable signatures), we should go directly to members of paliament. We are doing already active lobbying work and so far all the members are with us. So cross fingers for us. If you want some more photos from this short photo event I can send it to you.
